Parliamentarians Allocate NG-CDF Funds for ICT Hub Creation

Parliamentarians have allocated funds from the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) for the creation of ICT Hubs.

In Kakamega, Member of Parliament for Teso South, Mary Emase, explained how legislators have partnered with the Ministry of Information, Communications and Digital Economy to build one ICT hub in each ward across the country.

She added that the hubs will also offer services similar to those found in Huduma Centres, such as processing birth certificates, replacing identity cards (IDs), and obtaining death certificates.

The MP highlighted that these ICT hubs will bring essential services closer to residents in remote areas.
